This is your chance to show your support for our venture – please join us in our mission to spread the joy of horticulture, celebrate community gardening and encourage artistic engagement.
As the Chelsea Fringe enters its sixth year, we have undertaken a review of our Friends scheme. It was felt that this approach had served its purpose since launch and that it was time to move on to a model which was much more inclusive. We are now aiming to build a solid group of people who are committed to seeing the Fringe continue and flourish.
From the 2017 Festival, membership of the Friends of the Chelsea Fringe will be free. This will be offered to all those who are or have already been part of the Friends’ scheme; all those who have registered their interest via the website; all those who have volunteered or organised an event with us now or in the future. All of our emailing lists will be put together and everyone will now benefit for the same treatment as one big happy family.
We remain hugely grateful to the many people in the past few years who have been part of our Friends Scheme and therefore assisted in the financing of the Fringe. Your support has been essential.
Since the Friends is now open to everyone free of charge, we will be replacing our “Friends” button with a large “Donate” button which will give you the option to volunteer a donation to secure our future at any time you feel you can: once or more frequently, it’s up to you! All Friends of the Chelsea Fringe will receive regular updates on our activities plus an invitation to our general meetings where everyone has a chance to meet other members of our large family of supporters and hear about our plans for the Festival before anyone else does. This will include privileged access to that annual treat: the director’s annual presentation of the coming programme.
We thank you for your continuing support for the Chelsea Fringe and welcome you to donate to our revised Friends’ Scheme.
