A Question of Taste: Contrasting Borders at Fenton House
Sat 20 May, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm BST
Four new bright and exciting borders will be designed and planted by Kew-trained Head Gardener Andrew Darragh. Each border will showcase a very different style of horticulture – a tropical bed, prairie planting, a bedding scheme and a classic herbaceous border – all set in Fenton’s historic walled kitchen garden which is part of a glorious two acre show garden. Come and judge which display would suit your taste and take away planting ideas for your own garden.
Only a 5 minute walk from historic Hampstead village and Hampstead Heath.
Open to visitors Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm. Last entry at 4.30pm. Tickets to house and garden: Adult Gift Aid £8.50, Adult Standard £7.70, Child Gift Aid £4.20, Child Standard £3.80. Other tickets available. National Trust members free.
