Thursday 9th June | 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Spend an evening surrounded by colour! We will be looking at botanical dyes and how we can create a whole spectrum of colours using just three ingredients, red, yellow and blue. This is a brilliant introduction to the world of natural dyeing.
Silk will be provided and prepared ready for dyeing. By the end of the evening you will leave with a range of beautifully dyed samples.
Please note: Please bring a small book or folder in which to place all of your samples in.
Event leader: Susie Wareham is a graduate of the London College of Fashion. She is interested in the natural world and its effect upon the fashion industry. Susie enjoys using locally sourced natural dyes, and runs workshops to teach innovative dying techniques as well as exploring colour and pattern on fabric.
