Brixton Botanic is a design led, plant lovers residency at FMonday’s café on Brixton Hill, created by Grand Designs Live Garden Designer of the Year and the designer of the FMonday’s café garden, Marc O’Neill.
Launching for Chelsea Fringe and running through to July 2017, Marc will be at Brixton Botanic every Saturday offering design and practical advice on transforming gardens. Marc recommends bringing a selection of photographs for reference.
Hidden within the garden at the café and available to buy, will be his carefully curated imaginarium of urban plants, gardening essentials, and collectable antique and mid-century planters.
A botanical themed menu will launch in the cafe, and all visitors will receive a complimentary take-away plant list for the café’s living wall that was constructed for Chelsea Fringe 2016.
Extend the botanical day in Brixton by visiting Brixton Orchard, Brockwell Greenhouses in Brockwell Park, and the neighbouring South London Botanical Institute.
