|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every day that begins at 7:00 am, repeating until Sun 12 June, 2016
Brixton Living Wall was made from salvaged and recycled materials and planted as a solution to greening a derelict back yard space in Brixton on a low budget.
The garden is part of F Mondays cafe on Brixton Hill and was designed by Grand Designs Live Garden Designer of the Year 2015, Marc O’Neill.
Marc has used a combination of native and non native plants, some are from Great Dixter where he is a long term volunteer, and others from the Grand Designs Live garden, thriving in their new home.
Visit during Chelsea Fringe and see how to green up an awkward space for very little cost.
There will be a botanical themed menu and herbal teas on sale in the cafe, and a complimentary take-away plant list.
Visitors can also extend their day in Brixton by visiting Brockwell Greenhouses in Brockwell Park, and the neighbouring South London Botanical Institute.
