Diggers – Twenty First Century Definition: A group of Chelsea Fringe participants and supporters who formed a choir in November 2015.
Diggers are a new gardeners’ choir, open to anyone involved with community gardening or who supports it. The aim is to establish a repertoire of songs that we can sing together, usually at outdoor locations, in support of gardening initiatives (or occasionally by way of protest, too).
We are ‘appearing’ at two Chelsea Fringe projects – and aim to encourage everyone to sing-along with us to some well-known ‘garden’ songs.
