Fete, Felting and Film

The South London Botanical Institute will be holding a Fete showing off some of its rarer specimens from the herbarium and the library as well as opening the historical house and botanical garden, with our Garden Café serving teas and botanical ice creams, you also have a chance to see our beautiful new wallpaper designed by a young local artist based on our herbarium and garden plants. Books, plants and seeds for sale. Free
Women of the Cloth will be holding a taster workshop on how to make needlefelted ladybirds and snails. £3 including materials. Ages 8+
Evening outdoor showing of the film The Creeping Garden 7.45 pm with refreshments, screened in our garden. A real life science fiction movie exploring a world creeping right beneath our feet, with an original soundtrack by Jim O’Rourke (Sonic Youth and Herzog’s Grizzly Man). Tickets £5
