A great opportunity to join wild foodie enthusiast and multi award winning conservation educator Steve England at the historic Stoke Park estate in Bristol. On this event Steve will be taking us around the estate looking at different habitats collecting edible wild plants. Steve will also show you the cunning but poisonous plants that live amongst the edibles, we will then go to the woodland campsite and make a tasty salad treat from what we have collected whilst sat around a cosy camp fire.
This event does involve hill walking and going off the main paths – a walk of around a mile – so if you come along, personal fitness is a must and please ensure you wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather on the day. It would be great to also bring a camera and note pad and pen to write down what we have learnt on this event.
This event has been sponsored by the University of West of England. Photographs will be being taken so anyone attending the event automatically gives permission for photos to be taken and used in promotion of the event. To book a place email Steve direct on firstname.lastname@example.org (limited places – bookings on a first come basis)
