Gardens and Health in the City

The garden of the British Medical Association is on the site of Charles Dickens’ original house and will be the setting for an afternoon of lectures and discussions on how gardens, plant medicines and urban landscape can contribute to the health and wellbeing of patients and communities.
First event is at 3pm Meet, Eat and Learn – Leafy medicinal Plants, an interactive discussion with Prof Michael Heinrich [UCL School of Pharmacy], Paul Pulford [Grounded Ecotherapy], Simon Gharty and Valentina Alfano [Progress]
Second event at 5.30pm ; Discussion on Green Spaces for Healthier Cities and Patients with Sally Armour [Arup] and Asiya Yunus [London Medical Committee]
