Our kitchen garden is a haven of peace where we grow veg, fruit and flowers collectively. We are open every Thursday and gardeners share the harvest at the end of the day. The site was designed on Permaculture principles and has thrived since 2001. There is a cob-built rain shelter, compost loo, ponds and places to rest and gaze. Activities: Tours of the garden showing ‘no-dig’ cultivation, comfrey beds, composting, water harvesting and outdoor stove. Refreshments, plants, seedlings and comfrey juice to buy. Sadly we are not fully accessible to people with very limited mobility.
