An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating until Sun 5 June, 2016
We are a beautiful volunteer-run collaborative kitchen garden. Local people are welcomed on a drop-in basis every Thursday throughout the year and take home a share of the produce. The project was started in 2001 and has thrived as a demonstration permaculture site ever since. We do have a shelter in case it rains and a compost loo. Activities: Tours of the garden showing ‘no-dig’ method, composting, maintenance of fertility, water harvesting, ponds and our chimney stove. Cakes made by our volunteers, with tea and squash.
Access down lane between house nos 58 & 60 opposite Rose Green Centre. ‘Easton Community Garden’ sign indicates where to turn off the Bristol to Bath Railway path.
