An event every 2 weeks that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until Wed 3 June, 2015
Oasis is one of London’s longest-standing and best-loved examples of horticultural people power. Residents began transforming a patch of derelict land in 1973. Now there are three separate spaces enriching the lives of local children; an adventure playground, a go-kart track and the original nature garden, which plays host to our Stories of Stockwell Festival.
In a rare evening opening, we are holding two outdoor cinema nights. Films will be confirmed closer to the date. This idyllic setting, of pond and veg patch, woods and meadow, can only add to the atmosphere. See too how they have inspired local residents, gardeners and artists as we celebrate the history of our community.
