An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until Sun 12 June, 2016
What makes a five-star Bee Hotel? Like any great hotel, it’s about prime location, the best interiors and the finest food. The hippest residents of the Grand Bristol Honeycomb Bee Hotel will be the cavity nesting, solitary bees looking for a place to check in during springtime. Having an adjoining restaurant of bee-friendly native wildflowers is an attraction because these gentle bees prefer not to forage too far.
The Grand Bristol Honeycomb Bee Hotel, a hexagonal interlinking system of bee hotels, will be gracing the walls in Millennium Square throughout the Chelsea Fringe Festival in Bristol. Another of the Honeycomb Meadow designs by River of Flowers and BeeBristol to provide environmental solutions for bees in the city, it will be accompanied by vertical hanging Honeycomb Meadows of specially curated wild trailing plants as well as horizontal planters of wildflowers and flowering trees. The bees will have plenty to hum about!
