The molecular cube: a hidden garden
Sat 21 May, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm BST
An event every day that begins at 11:00 am, repeating until Sun 12 June, 2016
Drs Eva Galante and Christian Capelli present a surprising “molecular” garden which combines art and science. Discover how Nature repeats similar forms from succulent plants to salts, viruses and cells. Look through microscope lenses and enter the microscopic and macroscopic world at the Dalston Eastern Curve Garden. This artwork explores the hidden resemblances between what is visible, such as the appearance of succulent plants, and what we cannot see with the naked eye, such as the crystal structures of salts, minerals and proteins as well as cells and viruses.
During the whole Chelsea Fringe Festival 2016, Eva will be available every Saturday morning from 11 am till 1 pm to present the work, excite your curiosity and answer all your questions about the scientific world!
Do not miss your chance to discover the hidden world this spring at the Dalston Eastern Curve Garden.
