The Tree of Life with Berakah Project
Sun 29 May, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm BST£15 – £25
Art and musical celebrations celebrating the Tree of Life will be held in the open gardens of St Katharine’s Parmoor. The 500 year old Lebanon sacred cedar tree is a very special tree that over time has developed an extraordinary reputation for its presence and consciousness – many say they can hear whisperings from the tree and when embracing the trunk the tree seems to connect in a heart beat, yet few know of the tree’s presence and power.
2pm – Shamanic drumming under the tree
3pm – Picnic in the open grounds
4pm – London band ‘Berakah Project’. This is a very powerful group of musicians from different backgrounds and faiths, whom have also played on the South Bank at the Royal Festival Hall.
6.30pm – Amanda McGregor shares her new book – a Life of Bliss.
7pm – Shared feast
8pm – Ecstatic dance and open mic
Please bring shamanic drums, instruments, voice and food.
Suggested donation of £25 for whole day to include a book, £15 for concert only.
