An event every day that begins at 3:00 pm, repeating until Sun 29 May, 2016
Local writer Hilaire is Thrive Battersea’s poet-in-residence for the Chelsea Fringe and upcoming Open Garden Squares Weekend. Hilaire will spend time in each of Thrive’s gardens, observing the interactions between visitors (human and otherwise) and the surrounding environment, and gathering material for new poems. This work will build on her growing poetical exploration of gardening and London’s green spaces. Hilaire will read a selection of her garden-themed poems in the Old English Garden at 3pm on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May. All welcome! Open Garden Squares Weekend takes place 18th and 19th June. With thanks to the Poetry School, London Parks and Gardens Trust and Thrive Battersea for the poet-in-residence opportunity. @Xilaire
