Urban Tree Festival: Tree or False? a tree-sure hunt
Sun 20 May, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm BST£10
Part of the first ever Urban Tree Festival, Tree or False? Reckon you know the facts from the fibs about trees & nature? This is a fun and interactive walkshop which will follow the park’s “Ice Age Tree Trail” to bolster your knowledge of interesting tree facts with a unique spin on “true or false”. All participants will be provided with a unique make-your-own identification guide and learning journal which will be used throughout the event.
Hunt for treasure, share with the group and discover how much you know about trees and nature. No previous knowledge is required. Suitable for all ages and a great family afternoon out. Although the walkshop takes place within a park, there maybe parts where the ground is uneven or rough, please come prepared.
We are crowdfunding to raise money to keep ticket prices low for events during the Urban Tree Festival – our crowdfunding campaign runs until the 1 May – and you can secure a ticket for this event by pledging £10 to our crowdfunder campaign. This not only secures you a ticket but also brings in a further £10 as Trees for Cities are match funding every pledge until we meet our target of £1,500. If you make a pledge and select a specific ticket, we will acknowledge it so you won’t need to buy a ticket after 1 May. If booking after 1 May please purchase tickets from here (booking fees apply). Accompanied children come free.
