An afternoon of poetry readings – some favourites, some written by the Free Range Poets. In the tranquil setting of the Barn at Southbrook surrounded by trees, sheep, hens and the beauty of the Chilterns. Last year we hosted Poetry and Prosecco, a well attended free event (as this year) with an audience of around 50, many of whom stayed to enjoy chat, tea and cakes.
We have changed the title this year to Nature in the Raw to give our poets even more freedom of choice in their readings. Maybe not quite so many floral poems but plenty of poems about nature in all its glory. And yes, we will all be fully clothed – it’s not that raw !
