Join us at the magnificent Pentillie Castle in Cornwall to celebrate the start of Chelsea Week, in partnership with the Chelsea Fringe Festival and Miranda Hackett Flowers.
We look forward to welcoming you to Pentillie Castle & Estate, a fine Georgian Mansion perched on the banks of the River Tamar in Cornwall, for an afternoon of true Englishness and Chelsea-inspired flower excitement with a whimsical floral demonstration and traditional Afternoon Tea.
Artisan florist, Miranda Hackett will demonstrate ‘A Whimsical Summer Table‘ – how to create a pretty, floral tablescape, set down the centre of a long table. The demonstration will use seasonal British flowers and foliage arranged in an eclectic mix of pewter, tin, brass and ceramic containers with a collection of antique brass candlesticks and a romantic hand-dyed silk table runner from Lancaster & Cornish. The floral displays will be very loose and naturally styled, with whimsical touches and foliage tendrils reaching down onto the table.
A traditional afternoon tea will then be served in the Castle dining room at 1pm where you can share your inspiration and ideas with friends and like-minded people.
The event will support local growers and businesses – flowers will be sourced from Devon and Cornish growers; Miranda Hackett Flowers and Lancaster & Cornish are Devon and Cornish based artisan businesses.
