Three themed gardens – Anatomy of a Flower, Sunseekers and Planting for Pollinators – will ‘pop up’ at the Horniman Museum and Gardens in Forest Hill, South London at the end of May 2015. Designed by Head of Horticulture Wes Shaw and his team, the pop-ups will use bespoke planting to explore the themes of the Horniman’s indoor Plantastic exhibition. To raise awareness of just how many everyday garden plants and flowers can be toxic to our beloved pets, insurer MORE TH>N is creating the world’s most dangerous garden for cats and dogs at the Horniman Museum and Gardens. The garden will contain all manner of plants and flowers from British gardens that could be toxic to our furry friends. For obvious reasons, there are strictly no pets allowed in the garden at any time! Only humans allowed!

Children of all ages from The Horniman Primary school will be planting bee friendly plants, grown from seeds by them, to create a Matisse-inspired recycled bottle garden. A really magical and inspiring project which we cannot wait to share with you all. In collaboration with the Horniman Museum and Gardens, these Matisse-inspired recycled bottles will be installed in the Horniman Museum Grounds for all to enjoy during the 9 days of Chelsea Fringe, with all seeds and compost kindly donated…
